Developing Leaders Through FAITH

FAITH is a ministry with many spiritual benefits—new believers,
spiritual growth among disciples, increased enrollment and attendance,
effective ministry visits, strengthened classes and departments, and new
and improved leadership. FAITH contributes to both the breadth
(discovery of new leaders) and depth (development of existing leaders)
of leadership in the church.
FAITH Discovers Leaders
FAITH is one of the most productive resources for discovering new
leaders. Through FAITH, many members will be brought into contact with
your staff, coordinators, and directors, and several can be recruited to
work as substitute teachers or event sponsors.
These newly discovered leaders have been
there all along—some for many years. But they had been overlooked. FAITH
brought them to the surface where they were recognized as potential
leaders.
FAITH Develops Leaders
FAITH can also have a great impact upon the development and maturity of
your church’s leadership. The spiritual nurturing and leadership model
provided by FAITH Team Leaders will encourage the growth and development
of other leaders, who are serving as FAITH Team members. As you discover
potential leaders be sure to enroll them in a potential leadership
program, before they assume a leadership position. |
